About Me

Hi, I’m Ilona,

My own experiences of suffering led me onto a path of spiritual growth and healing. Today I guide others to experience deep transformation, healing and a renewed connection to themselves.

Ilona Smith

I have lived through long periods of feeling lost, disconnected, and exhausted. For years I survived rather than lived, swinging between adrenaline and shutdown. Throughout my life, healing has been a constant thread—sometimes slow, sometimes difficult, but always meaningful. A deep connection to the Universe has been an anchor, helping me find purpose and direction.

In my 30s, I entered therapy to work through trauma and grief and found the process profoundly life-changing. It showed me the power of healing through connection and inspired me to support others in feeling whole and integrated.

In my 40s, I explored psychedelic medicine to access early childhood wounds. It was an intense and challenging experience that required time and careful integration, but it ultimately broadened my understanding of how transformation can unfold.

I have been supporting adults through suffering, trauma, and personal development for more than 30 years. I qualified as a mental health nurse in 1998 and later retrained as a therapist in 2009. My work now integrates trauma-informed psychotherapy, psychoeducation, spiritual psychology, and somatic practices—approaches that have supported my own healing and that I now use to guide others toward empowerment.

My Philosophy

I believe that ‘Wholeness’ doesn’t mean a life without struggle—it means your true self remains steady and sacred, even through difficult times. Within every part of you lies a profound potential, you are divinely created.

What often stands in the way of healing are the unseen barriers we carry within—limiting beliefs, unresolved wounds, and emotional defences shaped over time.

Self-compassion is the ground from which deep, lasting transformation can take place. When you soften your inner dialogue, you create space for healing to unfold, you open your heart to healing. Love directed inward isn’t selfish—it’s sacred, and it is the beginning of coming home to yourself.
